Tootmisseade is a term from a fictional ethnographic canon used to describe a ceremonial artifact and the ritual surrounding it in coastal communities of the fictional Eldmere archipelago. In the internal lore, it refers both to the object itself and to the procession in which it is played, serving as a focal point for communal identity and ritual memory.

The artifact is described as a carved wooden wind instrument, roughly 25 centimeters in length, with copper inlays and twelve finger holes. It is traditionally decorated with shell inlays and a carved headpiece representing sea creatures.
