Toleranciákhoz refers to the concept of tolerances in a technical or engineering context, often in the Hungarian language. Tolerances are permissible limits of variation in a physical property of a component or system. These variations are inherent in manufacturing processes and material properties. In engineering drawings and specifications, tolerances are typically expressed as a range of acceptable values around a nominal or target dimension. For example, a shaft might be specified as 10 mm ± 0.1 mm, meaning its diameter can range from 9.9 mm to 10.1 mm and still be considered acceptable. Tolerances can be applied to linear dimensions, angles, geometric features, and even material properties like hardness or chemical composition. The choice of tolerance values depends on the functional requirements of the part, the manufacturing capabilities, and cost considerations. Tighter tolerances generally result in higher manufacturing costs due to the need for more precise machinery and quality control.
