Toivomus

Toivomus is a Finnish noun meaning a wish, a request, or a desired outcome. It is used to denote something someone would like to happen or obtain, often in more formal or deliberate contexts than the everyday term toive. The word is derived from the verb toivo (“to hope”) with the nominalizing suffix -mus, producing an abstract noun that can refer to a specific wish or a set of requested conditions.
