Tkiva
Tkiva is a plural noun in several South Slavic languages, most commonly Croatian, Bosnian and Serbian, meaning tissues. The singular form is tkivo, used to refer to a single tissue. As in English, tkiva is used in biology to describe groups of cells that cooperate to perform a specific function in an organism.
