Tirupur
Tiruppur, also spelled Tirupur, is a city and the district headquarters of Tiruppur district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu. It is widely recognized as the Knitwear Capital of India due to its large-scale knitwear and garment manufacturing and export industry. The city lies on the banks of the Noyyal River, about 50–60 kilometers east of Coimbatore, and is part of the Kongu Nadu region.
