Timpanometrit

Timpanometrit is a medical term that refers to inflammation of the tympanum, which is also known as the eardrum. This condition is often associated with middle ear infections, also known as otitis media. When the tympanum becomes inflamed, it can lead to a variety of symptoms, including ear pain, a feeling of fullness in the ear, and temporary hearing loss. The inflammation can be caused by bacterial or viral infections, or by allergies. In some cases, it can also be a result of injury to the ear.

Persistent or recurrent inflammation of the tympanum can, in some instances, lead to complications such as chronic ear infections or even damage to the ossicles (the small bones in the middle ear) or the inner ear structures, potentially affecting hearing in the long term.
