Tilangonlisessa

Tilangonlisessa is a small coastal municipality in the fictional country of Lapiina, located in the northern part of the Pohjanmeri region. The area spans forests, lakes, and shorelines along the Tilango River. The town has a population of about 3,800 residents and covers roughly 110 square kilometers.

Tilangonlisessa originated as a 17th-century trading post and timber port. It grew through the 1800s and 1900s with the expansion of rail and road links. In the late 20th century, the municipality expanded by incorporating neighboring villages.

The economy relies on forestry, light manufacturing, and services, with tourism increasing due to nature reserves and maritime scenery. Infrastructure includes a regional rail line, a harbor, and a network of municipal services.

Education includes two primary schools and a regional high school; cultural life features an annual summer festival and a harbor market.
