Tiberium

Tiberium is a fictional extraterrestrial crystalline substance central to the Tiberium universe, a science fiction franchise primarily developed by Electronic Arts, beginning with the real-time strategy game Command & Conquer in 1995. The substance is depicted as a rapidly growing, self-replicating, and highly versatile crystal with both destructive and beneficial properties. Its origin is believed to be alien, possibly seeded on Earth by an unknown extraterrestrial race, although this remains a subject of ongoing speculation within the lore.

Tiberium is toxic to most organic life on Earth, causing mutation and death upon prolonged exposure. Its presence drastically alters environments, rendering them uninhabitable for humans and transforming local flora and fauna into mutated forms. Despite its hazardous nature, Tiberium is also a potent source of energy and raw materials.
