Thiofene
Thiofene is a term that appears in a limited set of chemical texts to denote a five-membered sulfur-containing heterocycle. In mainstream chemical nomenclature, the structure most closely associated with the name is thiophene, a planar aromatic ring with four carbon atoms and one sulfur atom.
