Thermosprayed

Thermosprayed refers to a coating or surface treatment applied using a thermal spray process. Thermal spraying encompasses a group of processes where molten or semi-molten material is propelled at high velocity onto a surface, forming a coating. The material can be in the form of powder, wire, or rod. The heat source for melting the material can vary, including combustion flames, electric arcs, or plasma.

In thermospraying, the molten or softened particles impact the substrate and rapidly cool, adhering to the surface and building up a layer.
