ThalliumIII

ThalliumIII refers to the chemical element thallium in its +3 oxidation state. Thallium is a soft, gray, and highly toxic metal belonging to Group 13 of the periodic table. In aqueous solutions, thallium can exist in either the +1 or +3 oxidation state, with Thallium(I) being the more stable and common form.

Thallium(III) compounds are generally less stable than their Thallium(I) counterparts and tend to be strong oxidizing agents. For instance, Thallium(III) chloride (TlCl3) is a white crystalline solid that readily hydrolyzes in water.
