Teutons
The Teutons were a Germanic tribe mentioned by ancient writers. In historical accounts they are usually described together with the Cimbri as a northern European confederation that invaded Roman territories in the late 2nd century BCE, an episode known as the Cimbrian War. They are associated with regions in and around the Jutland peninsula and northern Europe, and they spoke a form of Proto-Germanic.
