This specific arrangement is common in chemistry and crystallography. In a tetrahedral structure, the central atom is positioned at the center of a tetrahedron, and the four surrounding atoms or groups are located at the vertices. The bond angles between the central atom and any two surrounding atoms are approximately 109.5 degrees. This angle is characteristic of sp3 hybridization in the central atom.
