Termineringarna, also known as the "Termination Wars," was a series of political and constitutional crises in Sweden during the late 1970s and early 1980s. The term refers to the government's attempts to terminate the Swedish Social Democratic Party's (SAP) monopoly on power, which had lasted since the party's formation in 1889.
