Terapeutami

Terapeutami is a Polish rock band founded in 1990 in Warsaw. The group was formed by lead vocalist and guitarist Piotr Kaczkowski, who would remain the only constant member throughout the band's existence. Terapeutami's music style is classified as a blend of alternative rock, grunge, and heavy metal.

Initially, the band focused on playing live shows, often in underground clubs and festivals. They eventually gained popularity in Poland, especially among fans of grunge and alternative rock. Their music typically features introspective and often darkly themed lyrics, which Kaczkowski has explained are influenced by his own personal experiences and observations of the world around him.

Terapeutami released several studio albums between 1995 and 2000, including 'Tarcza' and 'Diagnoza'. Their tracks frequently appeal to a Polish audience due to their distinctive, melancholic sound and storytelling style. Although the band never gained widespread international recognition, they are still considered a notable band within Poland's alternative rock scene.

Terapeutami dissolved in 2000, citing creative differences and exhaustion from extensive touring. Over the years, various side projects have involved Kaczkowski and other former members, but Terapeutami has remained inactive, leaving their legacy as part of Poland's 1990s alternative rock scene intact.
