Teesdale
Teesdale is the upper valley of the River Tees in the northeast of England. Largely within County Durham, it forms part of the North Pennines, an upland landscape of moorland, limestone valleys, and dramatic gorges. The Tees rises on the Pennine fringe and flows east and south through the dale, creating notable features such as High Cup Nick, a wide, glacial limestone bowl, and extensive limestone pavements and scarps.
