Teckningsförhållande, often translated as subscription ratio or allocation ratio, is a term primarily used in the context of initial public offerings (IPOs) or other share issuances. It refers to the proportion of shares an investor is entitled to subscribe to or is allocated, relative to the number of shares they applied for. When demand for shares in an offering exceeds the available supply, a teckningsförhållande comes into play to determine how the limited shares are distributed among the interested investors.
