Taymyrsky
Taymyrsky is a Russian toponymic adjective meaning “of Taymyr,” used for geographic and administrative entities associated with the Taymyr region in northern Siberia. The name appears most prominently in reference to the Taymyrsky Dolgano-Nenetsky District, a municipal district within Krasnoyarsk Krai that covers much of the Taymyr Peninsula and surrounding areas. The district and the wider region are named for the indigenous Dolgan and Nenets communities that historically inhabit the area.
