Tavoitta

Tavoitta is not a standalone entry in Finnish dictionaries. It is the stem tavoitta- that appears in the inflected forms of the verb tavoittaa, which means to reach, to contact, or to hit (a target). The infinitive is tavoittaa, and the stem tavoitta- is used before various ending patterns.

In the present tense, forms include minä tavoitan, sinä tavoitat, hän tavoittaa, me tavoitamme, te tavoitatte, he tavoittavat. In the past tense, forms include minä tavoitin, sinä tavoitit, hän tavoitti, me tavoitimme, te tavoititte, he tavoittivat.
