Tauschgeschäfte
Tauschgeschäfte, also known as bartering, are a system of exchange where goods or services are traded directly for other goods or services without the use of money. This form of transaction predates the widespread use of currency and was a fundamental part of economic activity in many societies throughout history. In a pure barter, one party offers an item or service and negotiates with another party to exchange it for something they need or want. The value of the goods or services is determined through mutual agreement between the participants.
