Tattinskaya
Tattinskaya is a rural locality in Tattinsky District of the Sakha Republic, Russia, located about 400 kilometers east of Yakutsk, the capital of the republic. It is the administrative center of the district. The settlement is situated on the Aldan River, a major tributary of the Lena River. The economy of Tattinskaya is primarily based on agriculture, including cattle breeding and reindeer herding, which are traditional activities in the region. The area experiences a subarctic climate with very cold winters and short, cool summers. Tattinskaya is also known for its cultural significance, being a center for Sakha (Yakut) culture and traditions. The local population largely consists of ethnic Sakha people. The settlement's infrastructure includes basic amenities and services typical of a rural Russian settlement. Access to Tattinskaya is primarily by road, though river transport is also utilized during the warmer months. The district plays a role in the preservation of traditional Sakha way of life.
