Tarnetähtaeg

In Estonian trade and procurement, it denotes the latest date or the time window within which a supplier must deliver goods or complete a service as agreed in the contract. It is a key term in many commercial agreements and can be defined in procurement documents, purchase orders, or the sales contract.

A tarnetähtaeg may be fixed or dependent on circumstances. It can specify a precise date, or indicate a period such as “within 30 days of order” or “by [date].” If no specific date is stated, the parties generally expect performance within a reasonable time, considering the nature of the goods, production schedules, and prior communications.
