Tamiz
Tamiz refers to the Tamil people, an ethnic group native to the Indian subcontinent. They are primarily found in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu, the Union Territory of Puducherry, and the northeastern part of Sri Lanka. Significant Tamil diaspora communities also exist in Malaysia, Singapore, the United Arab Emirates, the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. The Tamil language, a Dravidian language, is central to their identity and has a rich literary history spanning over two millennia.
