TRMMGPM

TRMMGPM is a satellite-based precipitation data product that provides a long-term, globally distributed record by integrating observations from the Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission (TRMM) and the Global Precipitation Measurement (GPM) mission. It is designed to maintain continuity of rainfall measurements from the late 1990s through the present, bridging legacy TRMM data with ongoing GPM observations. The product supports climate research, weather forecasting, and hydrological applications by delivering globally gridded rainfall estimates across multiple temporal scales.

The TRMMGPM dataset combines measurements from the TRMM era, including the precipitation radar and microwave imager, with measurements from the GPM core observatory, which carries the dual-frequency radar and microwave imager.
