TLDt, or Top-Level Domain t, is a designation within the Domain Name System (DNS) that signifies a generic top-level domain. Generic top-level domains, or gTLDs, are one of the main categories of top-level domains, distinguished from country code top-level domains (ccTLDs) and infrastructure top-level domains. TLDt itself is not a specific registry or a functional domain in common use. Instead, it represents a conceptual or historical placeholder within discussions about the structure and evolution of the internet's naming system.
