Süütekaabel

Süütekaabel, also known as a spark plug wire, is a crucial component in the ignition system of internal combustion engines, particularly those with gasoline engines. Its primary function is to transmit the high-voltage electrical current generated by the ignition coil to the spark plug. This high-voltage pulse is what ignites the air-fuel mixture within the engine cylinder, initiating the combustion process that powers the vehicle.

A typical süütekaabel consists of a conductive core, often made of copper or a resistive material like carbon or fiberglass, surrounded by an insulating layer.
