Sündsubattaire is a hypothetical concept referring to a theoretical subatomic particle that would exhibit properties of both a neutrino and a tau lepton. While neutrinos are fundamental particles that interact only via the weak nuclear force and gravity, and tau leptons are heavier, charged elementary particles belonging to the lepton family, a Sündsubattaire would possess characteristics of both. Specifically, it is theorized to be electrically neutral like a neutrino but would possess the mass and interaction cross-section more akin to a tau lepton.

The existence of Sündsubattaire is not supported by the Standard Model of particle physics and remains purely speculative.
