Szívkamrákban
Szívkamrákban refers to the ventricles of the heart in Hungarian. The heart has four chambers, with the two lower chambers being the ventricles. The right ventricle is responsible for pumping deoxygenated blood to the lungs, while the left ventricle pumps oxygenated blood to the rest of the body. These muscular chambers play a crucial role in the circulatory system, ensuring that blood is efficiently distributed throughout the body. The rhythmic contraction and relaxation of the ventricles, known as systole and diastole, create the heartbeat and drive blood flow. The walls of the ventricles are thicker than those of the atria due to the greater workload they undertake. The left ventricle, in particular, has the thickest wall as it needs to generate enough pressure to pump blood throughout the entire systemic circulation. Any dysfunction in the ventricles can lead to serious cardiovascular conditions.
