Szemcsehatárok

Szemcsehatárok, a Hungarian term, translates to "grain boundaries" in English. In materials science and metallurgy, a grain boundary is the interface between two adjacent grains or crystals in a polycrystalline material. These grains are typically oriented differently relative to each other.

Grain boundaries are regions of atomic disorder where the crystal lattice is not perfectly aligned. This misalignment can lead to a higher energy state compared to the interior of the grains.
