Syövytysreagenssien
Syövytysreagenssit are chemical substances used in etching processes. Etching is a technique used to remove material from a substrate, often a metal or semiconductor, through chemical reaction. Syövytysreagenssit are specifically designed to react with the target material while leaving other parts of the substrate unaffected, or at least minimally affected. The choice of syövytysreagenssi depends heavily on the material being etched and the desired outcome. For example, in the fabrication of printed circuit boards, acidic solutions are often used to etch away copper. In semiconductor manufacturing, more complex mixtures of acids, bases, and oxidizing agents are employed for precise patterning of silicon wafers.
The process of etching involves immersing the substrate in the syövytysreagenssi or applying it to the surface.
