Swertiamarin
Swertiamarin is a natural product belonging to the class of secoiridoid glycosides. It is found in several plant species of the Gentianaceae, most notably in Swertia chirayita (swertia or Indian gentian) and other Swertia species, as well as in related genera. Swertiamarin is the glucoside of swertianic acid, consisting of an iridoid-type aglycone with a β-D-glucosyl unit attached by a glycosidic bond.
