Supetar

Supetar is the largest town on the Croatian island of Brač, located in Split-Dalmatia County. It is the administrative center of the island and the primary settlement on Brač, serving as the island’s main port and hub for services and commerce. The town sits on the northern coast of Brač, facing the mainland city of Split across the Brač Channel.

Supetar is the main ferry port for Brač, with regular car and passenger connections to Split that make it the principal gateway for visitors to the island. The harbor is complemented by a seaside promenade, a market area, and a network of stone houses that reflect traditional Dalmatian architecture. The local economy relies on tourism, fishing, and the provision of communal and commercial services for residents and tourists.
