Sunagashi

Sunagashi is a Japanese term that literally translates to "sand flowing" or "wind-blown sand." It describes the phenomenon of sand being moved and carried by the wind. This natural process is a common sight in arid and semi-arid regions, deserts, and coastal areas.

The intensity and appearance of sunagashi can vary greatly depending on factors such as wind speed, sand grain size and density, and the moisture content of the sand. Light breezes might cause only a gentle shifting of surface sand, while strong winds can lead to more significant erosion and the formation of sand drifts.
