Suchém is a fictional concept used in speculative fiction and world-building to denote a formal practice of communal memory and reciprocal obligation. In its imagined cultures, suchém governs how groups record, share, and enact remembered deeds and agreements, binding members to mutual duties and social norms.

Within the in-world lexicon, suchém is attributed to the hypothetical Nharin language. The element such- is treated as a root meaning together or collective, while -ém is an agent- or nominalizing suffix, yielding a term that names the practice rather than a specific act.

Practically, suchém unfolds in three stages: invitation to participate, narrative or oath-telling of past commitments, and public acknowledgment of ongoing duties. Ceremonies may be led by elders, legislatures, or ceremonial choruses and often conclude with a pledge or recorded statement.
