Subducerar

Subducerar is the present tense, third-person singular form of the Swedish verb subducera, meaning to subduct. In geology, subduction is the process by which one tectonic plate sinks beneath another and moves into the mantle, typically at convergent plate boundaries. The sinking plate is usually oceanic due to higher density and commonly descends beneath an overriding plate, though continental crust can also subduct under certain conditions.
