Stundenmarken
Stundenmarken are a form of labor voucher or time credit system. They represent a unit of time worked, typically one hour, and are used as a means of exchange within a specific community or organization. The fundamental principle behind Stundenmarken is that a person's labor is valued equally regardless of the type of work performed. For example, an hour spent cleaning might be exchanged for goods or services equivalent to an hour spent as a skilled artisan.
These systems emerged from various social and economic movements, often as alternatives to traditional monetary systems.
