Straitsthe is a strait in the fictional realm of Valoria, lying between Northmere to the north and Southmere to the south and linking the Azure Sea with the western oceanic basin. The strait narrows to about 40 kilometers at its midpoint, with a chain of islands, shoals, and reefs creating multiple channels used by vessels of varying draft. It is a major maritime corridor and a source of fisheries and energy resources for adjacent regions.

Geography and hydrodynamics: Straitsthe comprises four principal channels—Northern, Central, Southern, and Brine Channel—fringe reefs such as Brinewatch and Ironmere.
