Storck, formally August Storck KG, is a German confectionery company known for a range of candy and chocolate brands, including Werther’s Original, Toffifee, Nimm2, Riesen, and Merci. It is privately owned by the Storck family and operates production sites in Germany and other countries, distributing its products in many markets worldwide.

Founded in 1903 by August Storck, the company began as a family-run confectionery operation in Germany. Through the 20th century it expanded production and distribution, building a global brand portfolio centered on caramel, chocolate, and fruit-flavored candies. Werther’s Original, a hard caramel candy, became the firm’s flagship product after its mid-20th-century introduction and remains widely recognized. Toffifee, a hazelnut-filled caramel cup surrounded by chocolate, was launched in the 1970s and achieved international sales success. Other major lines include Nimm2 fruit chews that contain vitamins, Riesen chocolate-covered caramels, and Merci boxed chocolates for gifts.
