Stimulansavkänning refers to the biological process by which an organism detects and responds to stimuli from its environment. These stimuli can be internal or external and can take many forms, including light, sound, temperature, pressure, chemicals, and physical touch. The ability to sense and react to these stimuli is crucial for survival, allowing organisms to find food, avoid predators, reproduce, and maintain homeostasis.
