Spójnoci

Spójnoci is a term encountered rarely in Polish linguistic literature. It is not a standard or widely recognized term; most often scholars refer to spójność or kohezja when discussing textual coherence. If used, spójnoci tends to function as a plural form or a mistaken variant of spójność.

Spójność (coherence or cohesion) describes the property of a text in which its parts form a unified whole. This includes textual cohesion—the links among sentences and sections through lexical repetition, pronouns and deictic references, and connective devices (spójniki)—as well as the logical coherence of argument structure.

In practical analysis, aspects of spójność are examined by looking at reference chains, semantic links, discourse markers, and topic maintenance. Spójnoci, if used, would refer to these dimensions collectively, though the term is not standard.

In education and style guides, emphasis is placed on maintaining clear referents, consistent terminology, and explicit connectors to enhance spójność or coherence overall. Terms closely related to spójnoci include spójnik (conjunction) and kohezja (cohesion) in its broader sense.
