Sotsiaalkaitse

Sotsiaalkaitse, meaning social protection in English, is a broad concept encompassing a range of measures and policies designed to safeguard individuals and families against social risks and ensure a minimum standard of living. These risks can include unemployment, sickness, old age, disability, poverty, and family difficulties. The primary goal of sotsiaalkaitse is to promote social well-being, reduce inequality, and foster social cohesion within a society.
