Somatických

Somatických is a form of the Czech adjective somatický, meaning relating to the body. It is used in scientific and clinical language to distinguish bodily phenomena from mental, genetic, or germline aspects. The root soma comes from Greek and denotes the physical body as opposed to others such as the mind or reproductive cells.

In biology, somatic cells (somatické buňky) constitute the tissues and organs of an organism’s body, in contrast to germ cells (gamety) that give rise to offspring. Somatic mutations occur in non-reproductive cells and are not inherited by the next generation; they can contribute to aging or disease processes within an individual.
