Soluisia is a theoretical concept in speculative biology and astrobiology, referring to hypothetical organisms or ecosystems that have evolved to utilize sulfur as a primary source of energy. This contrasts with most known life on Earth, which relies on photosynthesis (using light energy) or chemosynthesis based on compounds like iron or hydrogen. The term itself is derived from "sulfur" and the Latin suffix "-is", often used to denote a state or quality.

In a soluisian ecosystem, microorganisms would likely play a central role, performing complex biochemical reactions involving various sulfur compounds. These could include the oxidation of hydrogen sulfide (H2S) or the reduction of sulfate (SO4^2-).
