They are described as bipedal, of average height, with a robust build and skin tones ranging from bronze to slate. Their eyes are large and adapted to low light, reflecting a life largely spent at sea and along reefs. The Sodons speak a tonal language with a complex system of gestures, and many communities maintain oral storytelling traditions.
