Snowdon
Snowdon, known in Welsh as Yr Wyddfa, is the highest mountain in Wales, rising to 1,085 metres (3,560 feet) above sea level. It is located in Snowdonia National Park in Gwynedd, in the north-west of Wales, and forms a central part of the Snowdon massif. The mountain dominates the surrounding landscape and is a prominent feature in Welsh geography and culture.
