Smartkártyák

Smartkártyák, also known as integrated circuit cards or chip cards, are physical cards containing an embedded microprocessor. This microprocessor allows the card to store and process information securely. Unlike magnetic stripe cards, which store data on a magnetic strip, smart cards can perform computations and manage data independently. This makes them much more secure and versatile for various applications.

The primary function of a smart card is to store sensitive data, such as identification numbers, financial details, or digital certificates, in a protected manner. The embedded chip encrypts this data and can authenticate the user or device interacting with it.
