Slings
A sling is a simple ranged weapon consisting of a small pouch attached to two cords. A projectile, typically a stone or lead shot, is placed in the pouch. The wielder spins the sling in a circle to build momentum and then releases one cord at the right moment, sending the projectile toward the target while the other cord remains in the hand to control the motion. The sling’s range and accuracy depend on the user’s technique and the quality of the sling.
