Skedastic is an adjective used to describe something that is related to or characterized by the distribution of a probability. In statistics and probability theory, a skedastic function describes how the variance of a random variable changes with its mean or another variable. For example, in econometrics, heteroskedasticity refers to a situation where the variance of the error term in a regression model is not constant.
