Sisäkulmaukset

Sisäkulmaukset are a geometric concept referring to the angles formed on the interior of a polygon by two adjacent sides. In a simple polygon, the sum of the interior angles is determined by the number of sides it possesses. For a polygon with n sides, the sum of its interior angles can be calculated using the formula (n-2) * 180 degrees. For example, a triangle (n=3) has interior angles that sum to (3-2) * 180 = 180 degrees. A quadrilateral (n=4) has interior angles that sum to (4-2) * 180 = 360 degrees.

In regular polygons, where all sides are of equal length and all interior angles are equal, each interior angle can be found by dividing the total sum of interior angles by the number of sides. Thus, for a regular n-sided polygon, each interior angle measures [(n-2) * 180] / n degrees. This principle applies to all convex polygons. For non-convex polygons, some interior angles can be greater than 180 degrees, but the formula for the sum of interior angles still holds true. The concept of interior angles is fundamental to understanding polygon properties and is utilized in various fields, including geometry, architecture, and engineering.
