Signalübertragung, also signal transmission, refers to the process of conveying information from a source to a destination via a medium. This process involves encoding information into a signal, which can take various forms such as electrical, electromagnetic, or optical waves. The signal is then transmitted through a channel, which can be a physical medium like a wire or optical fiber, or a free space medium for wireless transmission. At the destination, the signal is received and decoded to retrieve the original information.
